PATIENT SURVEY
Pain Survey Results,
Answered by Our Patients
We surveyed 100 patients who received Ultherapy Prime at our clinic about the pain they felt after the procedure.

PROBLEM
You want the result —
but the pain holds you back.
Many patients postpone or skip treatments because they fear pain.
But pain management is a skill, and a system.
-
A past procedure caused real discomfort — I'm wary now
-
The anesthesia didn't work well, and it hurt during the procedure
-
Bruising or swelling lingered for too long afterwards
-
I'm sensitive to pain and worry about every needle
Why did it hurt?
Topical numbing alone has limits.
-
Relying on topical cream alone
Surface anesthesia cannot adequately block pain when the procedure reaches the dermis or below.
-
Standard needle gauge
Thicker needles cause more tissue trauma, which leads to bruising and swelling. Instrument choice directly affects recovery.
-
Ignoring individual sensitivity
Without accounting for pain threshold, treatment area, and skin thickness, the same procedure can feel very different from one person to the next.
THE GARDEN SOLUTION
4-Step Pain Management System
Anesthesia depth and method are designed in stages —
combined optimally to match procedure type and patient sensitivity.
-
01Numbing Cream
Lidocaine topical anesthesia is applied for 20–40 minutes to fully numb the epidermis and reduce discomfort in later steps.
-
02Ultrasound Delivery (Optional)
Ultrasound enhances dermal penetration of the anesthetic — for deeper, more even numbing than cream alone.
-
03Nerve Block
Local anesthesia is administered along the nerve pathway of the treatment area — effectively blocking deeper-layer pain.
-
04Sedation (Optional)
For extensive procedures or patients with high sensitivity, safe sedation is available as a choice.
TREATMENT POINT
Nano needles + specialty cannulas
Minimizing tissue trauma to substantially reduce bruising, pain, and downtime.
